A Few Things to Know

We want your celebration to feel easy, fun and well taken care of! These policies help make sure everyone knows what to expect so we can focus on giving you a great party.

1. Booking & Payment

The base party rate is paid in full at the time of booking to reserve your date.

Any additional guest fees will be charged the day before your party based on your confirmed guest count. 

2. Cancellations & Refunds

If the date you chose no longer works for you, you're welcome to reschedule for another available date.

Deposits and payments are non-refundable before, during or after your event.

3. Getting Ready for Your Party

We'll arrive approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to get everything ready.

For parties at home, having your kitchen or dining table cleared for product making and some space available in the living room for the spa activities helps us get the fun underway quickly.

We'll take care of the setup from there!

4. Adult Supervision

For children's parties, we ask that a parent or guardian remain at the event for the duration of the party.

This gives us an extra set of hands when needed and allows our team to focus on creating a fun, smooth experience for everyone.

5. Allergies & Sensitivities

We use a variety of skincare products and ingredients during Spa Like a Boss activities.

Please let us know about any known allergies, skin sensitivities or other considerations that could affect a guest's participation.

We'll do our best to accommodate individual needs where reasonably possible and will let you know if an activity or product may not be suitable for a particular guest.

Ingredient information is available upon request.

6. Health & Safety

If a guest is actively unwell or showing symptoms of a contagious illness, we ask that they sit this party out for the comfort and safety of the group.

We'll make sure their take-home goodies don't miss the celebration!

7. Photos

We may take photos during the party for Spa Like a Boss promotional purposes. Our standard practice is to keep identifiable faces out of promotional photos and focus instead on the activities, products, decorations and overall party experience.

8. Guest Count

Please confirm your expected number of guests a few days before your event so we can make sure we bring enough of everything.

If your final guest count is higher than the number included in your booking, we'll send you an invoice for the additional guest fees the day before your event. Your final guest charge will be based on whichever is higher: the number confirmed or the number who attend.

9. Participation & Safety

Spa Like a Boss events are interactive and may involve loose powders, skincare ingredients, oils, liquids, foot tubs and other materials.

Guests are expected to follow the instructions provided by the Spa Like a Boss team, including instructions for the safe handling and use of products and ingredients.

Participation involves ordinary risks including spills, slips, trips, falls, accidental eye contact, skin irritation, sensitivities and allergic reactions.

If a product or ingredient accidentally gets into a guest's eyes, onto irritated or broken skin, or otherwise causes discomfort, please let a Spa Like a Boss team member know immediately so the activity can be stopped and the affected area rinsed or otherwise addressed as appropriate.

Spa Like a Boss is not responsible for reactions resulting from allergies or sensitivities that were not disclosed before participation.
